The inaugural Green Mountain Bait & Tackle Bass Classic was held on August 22, 2026, at Lake Elmore in Elmore, Vermont.

Mike O’Brien’s tournament-winning largemouth bass weighed 4 lb 1 oz and measured 19 3/4 inches, earning first place in both the Largemouth Bass Weight and Length divisions.
Mike O’Brien’s winning smallmouth bass weighed 3 lb 12 oz and measured 19 1/2 inches, taking first place in both the Smallmouth Bass Weight and Length divisions.
Keeton Hull’s northern pike weighed 2 lb 15 5/8 oz and measured 23 1/2 inches, earning first place in the Northern Pike Weight division.
Alex Clark’s northern pike measured 24 3/4 inches and weighed 2 lb 14 oz, earning first place in the Northern Pike Length division.
Steve Bushey’s winning yellow perch weighed 15 1/2 oz and measured 12 3/4 inches, taking first place in both the Yellow Perch Weight and Length divisions.
Darby Wendel’s winning pumpkinseed weighed 8 1/4 oz and measured 8 1/2 inches, earning first place in both the Pumpkinseed Weight and Length divisions.

Planning for the 2027 Green Mountain Bait & Tackle Bass Classic will begin soon.
The date, location, registration information, eligible species, tournament format, and prize details will be announced once they are finalized.
