Participants can expect a day of friendly competition, great prizes, and a chance to connect with fellow anglers while enjoying the scenic waters of Lake Elmore. Hosted by Green Mountain Bait & Tackle, the event celebrates Vermont's fishing community and encourages anglers of all ages to get out on the water.

Welcome to the inaugural Green Mountain Bait & Tackle Bass Classic! We look forward to spending the day on the beautiful waters of Lake Elmore with anglers from across the region. Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth check-in and tournament start.

Registration & Check-In
Anglers check in and receive tournament materials.
Verify registration and participant information.
Tournament staff available to answer questions.
6:45 AM – 7:00 AM
Mandatory Angler Meeting
Welcome and opening remarks.
Review tournament rules and regulations.
Safety briefing.
Tournament boundaries and catch submission procedures.
Final announcements before launch.

The Green Mountain Bait & Tackle Bass Classic officially begins. All registered anglers may begin fishing.
7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Tournament Fishing
Enjoy seven hours of fishing on Lake Elmore. Anglers will compete for prizes across multiple fish species and tournament categories. All catches must comply with tournament rules and Vermont fishing regulations.
2:00 PM
🛑 Lines Out
All fishing must cease immediately. No casts or catches after 2:00 PM will be eligible for scoring.
2:00 PM – 2:45 PM
Catch Verification & Score Tabulation
Tournament officials will verify all eligible catches, finalize standings, and prepare the awards presentation.
2:45 PM – 3:00 PM
Awards Ceremony
Join us as we recognize the day's top anglers and present awards for:
